Truth-in-Advertising Standards 

This refers to sets of rules as created by the FTC. It applies to online, print, and all types of media. It primarily aims to prevent frauds and scams as well as getting compensation from companies to be able to repay fraud victims. You should be truthful about your brand and be honest with your customers.

  • Keep personal/confidential information as much as possible 
  • Posting an online privacy policy detailing the data collection process for young children under 13
